GLENN HUSKIE
FOUNDER
Glenn has more than 25 years’ experience in the construction and development industry across an extensive range of disciplines and sectors. His in-depth knowledge of the construction industry, processes, systems, roles and responsibilities has enabled Glenn to adopt a wider strategic vision of service delivery to his clients.
Over the past 15 years Glenn has focused primarily on the luxury hospitality and leisure markets with regional and global roles for Jumeriah and Accor whilst advising Private Owners and Developers. During this time, he has overseen projects including the redevelopment of the iconic Old War Office in London, opening in 2022 as Raffles London and the refurbishment of Raffles Singapore alongside new build projects such as Raffles Boston and Raffles Lusail, Qatar.
With a passion for Hospitality, Design & Construction, Glenn's open and transparent leadership approach seeks to deliver the very best in value and project delivery for our clients and partners. As an 'in-house' partner to the Clients Team our aim is to provide a personal and first-class service.
JOHN BARNES
Partner - Artizan Projects
A dynamic and results-driven construction professional with an accomplished track record of project management that consistently achieves success. A collaborative and energetic leader who utilises modern tools, practices and emerging technologies to provide projects of high quality and of exceptional value over the last 36 years. John has a hands-on knowledge which enables a grand view in providing practical solutions.
John specializes in complex and challenging projects maintaining a high standard delivering on various levels within the industry from conservation and restoration to Michelin starred restaurants and high-end residential developments.
A design-driven team builder with an eye for detail who is marketing and brand aware with an entrepreneurial outlook to new ideas, practices and ventures. Having provided project services on every level John is best placed to provide an overall view and has delivered multiple sites from conception to completion.
CELINE SALMAN
Design & Technical Services
With a foundation in architecture and interiors, a focus on hospitality, and a passion for design strategy and property development, Celine brings unique value and perspectives to developers, owners, operators, and designers from Dubai to NYC.
Prior to leading key new build, conversion, and renovation projects at Accor with the Luxury & Lifestyle Hospitality team, Celine was Design Director with Paramount Hotels & Resorts where she played a founding role in creating and launching the studio’s hospitality lifestyle brands.
She has held a project management and owner's representative role with F&B operators the Gerber Group in New York, design roles with consultants GM Architects in Beirut and Stantec in Dubai, as well as an interior design manager role with hotel operator Rotana Hotels in Abu Dhabi.
In addition to an Architecture degree from the University of Maryland, Celine holds an MBA from IE Business School, giving her a well-rounded view of property development. She is fluent in English and in French, as well as conversational in Spanish and Arabic.
WILLIAM CARR
Engineering & Environment
A Hospitality Engineer with over 30 years of international experience in Hotel and Branded Residential Design, Building Services Design, Hotel Engineering Design, Hotel Openings, Commissioning, and Operational Support for leading Hotel Companies in the West Indies, Europe the Middle East, and Africa.
Bill has an exceptional ability to organise and lead projects, and a record of accomplishment in energy conservation, initiating and implementing changes, preparing forecasts, and the approval of Budgets and Capital expense plans.
Outstanding performance in Risk analysis, and financial management with previous P & L accountability of over US $62million. Leading projects from meeting with Developers, to kick off meetings with owners and on site right through to opening. Bill has been there and done it!
Andrew Gibson
Wellbeing, Spa & Fitness
Andrew’s specialty is turning ideas into reality, building great teams and start-up processes while delivering projects on time. He has over 40 years’ experience of managing wellness operations. As an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, specialising in wellness and working with the very best, all over the world, he remains creative, goal oriented, focused and pragmatic.
Andrew has been part of the senior management teams that have created iconic spa and wellness brands such as Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental, Raffles, Fairmont, Pullman, Sofitel, MGallery and Sensei
Over the last 30+ years he has created global brands, operated in over 70 countries and managed multiple brands for large corporations while retaining the ability to guide startup companies or provide advice equally to world leaders or university students. Andrew is currently one of the remaining founding members and advisory board directors of Global Wellness Summit/Institute, the Chairman of the Wellness Tourism Association and a long-time serving judge of the World Spa and Wellness Awards. He maintains a global network and a comprehensive knowledge of how to provide wellness services in hotels, real estate and lifestyle choices.
